Meet the NEWEST Salon Evangelene Team member!

SARA- Jr. Stylist

Sara is new to Salon Evangelene, but not to the hair business. She has been a licensed Hairstylist for 3 years, with previous experience working at salons in Parma & Brunswick. Sara attended the prestigious Brown Aveda Institute in Rocky River, OH. The Brown Institute is known for training extremely well talented Stylists, who deliver the highest level of quality service to their clients.

Sara has come to us with amazing abilities and talents, but of course here at Salon Evangelene we still had to evaluate and enhance her skills, to make sure she lives up to the standards our clients are used to. She spent a full month in training sessions learning our system of techniques & customer service with Evangelene, Aquage, Goldwell Professional Haircolor and the Salon E team. Sara is young and hip, yet has a maturity about her that will compliment any age client.

Sara is a well rounded stylist, with great haircutting & hiliting skills. Her passion is big transformations, like giving someone a complete makeover! Sara is not just talented with a hairbrush, she’s also talented with a makeup brush. She’s currently offering a complimentary Jane Iredale makeup application with each hair service booked in December or January.

Jen A.~ Stylist

Jen has been a Stylist for 13 years. She has a great personality that puts you at ease as soon as meet her. She is a creative haircolorist, who loves to give each client her undivided attention. She is talented in many other areas as well- Upstyles, manicures & pedicures, Shellac Hybrid Nailcolor, special occasion makeup and brow waxing.

Rachel ~ Stylist

Rachel has been licensed for 6 years, and after being trained by Angel herself, and top members of the Salon E team, she is wowing every client that leaves her chair. She has fierce talent and a passion for her craft that is unequalled in stylists of her era. As an expert in creative hair color, especially hilites and lolites, she is the perfect stylist to see if you are ready for a big change or full makeover! Her haircuts are always precise and customized by texturing after the blow dry, to make sure your hair is the most manageable for you. And speaking of manageable… Rachel will show you how to recreate your style, so you can make your hair look just as fabulous, as it did when you left the salon. Got fine hair? Rachel knows all the tricks to volumize your little wimpy hairs!

In addition to her amazing hair talents, Rachel is also an accomplished Jane Iredale make-up artist, trained to create looks for all ages- from soft & natural to high fashion dramatic. She also provides pampering Pedicures, so remember to set up an appointment to spiff up your tootsies too.

Susan has over 9 years behind the chair experience. As a multi-talented stylist with advanced skills in all aspects of hairdressing, she is especially adept at creating customized haircolor for grey coverage with multi-dimensional hilites, for a more natural look. Her specialities also include personalized dry haircutting, textured layers on long hair, and precision mens haircuts (many local executives are clients) . Susan has an upbeat, enthusiastic personality that you will enjoy while receiving top notch services in her chair.

Nikki ~ Master Stylist

Nikki has been a stylist for 19 years. If you like a stylist who is talented, but speedy, she will make you look great, in a short amount of time! Nikki’s talent for creating no fuss hairstyles, low maintenance haircolor & hilites is why she is a little hard to get an appointment with- and she works part-time since she has TWIN TODDLERS! As a busy mom, she understands the importance of looking great- without a lot of fuss.

Nikki is also the original Upstyle Queen. She puts hair up elegantly and expeditiously, and has brides booking months in advance to lock-in their appointment with Nikki. Call as soon as you get the date for your Homecoming or Prom, because Nikki has many loyal teens who count on her to make them look amazing for their formal dances.

 

Sherrie ~ Master Stylist

Sherrie has been a hairstylist for 26 years. No, that’s not a type-o, 26 years. And, 10 years of those 26 have been at Salon E.  Obviously she is a master haircolorist and haircutter, yet very up to date with her skills. Taking the time for a thorough consultation is a step methodically carried out with each client, listening to their needs, and making expert suggestions throughout the consult.

Sherrie’s knowledge is ever expanding and encapsulates many facets of beauty skills, like makeup artistry, custom blending and balancing haircolor and advanced design haircutting. She has a structured and systematic way of creating haircuts that are easy for you to style. Her meticulous nature ensures quality in every service she provides. Sherrie’s vast knowledge of makeup application can help you enhance a new haircolor or update & refresh your current look. Her Bridal & special occasion makeup techniques are exceptional, showing off your best features, (and camouflaging the not so best ones!) leaving you with a soft, natural yet chic look.

Rebecca ~ Master Stylist

Rebecca has over 12 years behind the chair experience, and has been with Salon Evangelene since it’s inception in 2001. Rebecca is Salon Evangelene’s most popular stylist. An expert at formulating shiny, custom, multi-dimensional haircolor that covers grey, yet looks youthful & natural is her forte. Hilites and lolites, enhance her amazing haircuts with perfectly placed haircolor accents. Her ability to tailor the cut for the color, and color for the cut is just one of the many things that sets Rebecca apart from other stylists. Rebecca also creates beautiful classic up-styles that are works of art. She designs elegant, chic bridal styles and cool, trendy prom & special occasion styles.

Making people feel better about their hair is her mission- she will share her tips and techniques to teach you how to style your own hair! Rebecca truly enjoys what she does- and it shows in her work, and how you will look and feel when you leave her chair- (FABULOUS!)

Debbie ~ Master Stylist

With over 17 years experience, and 10 of those years at Salon Evangelene, Debbie is an expert at precision haircutting. Patient, meticulous, focused- these are just a few ways to describe her penchant for perfection. Great with current or classic styles, Debbie is a master colorist who artistically, yet methodically places each hilite, for the perfect haircolor enhancement. She does a technique called color blending, which covers grey and makes hair appear youthful and naturally colored- and healthy. Debbie has a quiet nature, yet fierce, skills.  You will never feel rushed out of her chair, and will appreciate her devotion to making your hair look amazing.

Julie ~ Master Stylist

Julie has 14 years experience. She started her career by training at the prestigious Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Columbus. Her upbeat personality is infectious, and she loves connecting with her clients by making them look and feel great!

Julie is a master haircolorist and always keeps the integrity of the hair in mind- she only wants healthy, shiny hair leaving her chair! Her multi-dimensional coloring & hiliting techniques are fashion forward and chic. She is passionate about the quality of the haircut, making sure it works not only esthetically, but with your lifestyle and personality.

Carol ~ Master Stylist

Carol has been a Hairstylist for over 25 years! (she started when she was 5, lol). She keeps up with all the latest styles, techniques and trends by immersing herself in education constantly. Carol attends every class, show and academy that’s offered, so combined with her plethora of experience, she is a great stylist!

Carol is one of the few hairstylists around who can give a great perm. She is an expert at natural looking grey coverage while keeping the hair shiny and dimensional. Carol is one of nicest people you will meet- she’s always happy! She cares about her clients and always takes the time to listen to their needs.

Amy ~ Master Stylist

Amy  has 12 years behind the chair experience. She has an easy- going personality and is a very versatile stylist. Amy personalizes and tailors each haircut- perfect if you want a precision blunt cut, shattered texture or a combination of both . She creates customized colors, hilites & lolites to enhance each haircut, and is especially talented with short hair! Have trouble getting that perfect graduated (stacked) bob? Well, Amy is a master at fluidly creating graduation and inversion in her bobs. Amy has a way of putting structure and shape into the hair so that it styles easily, and leaves you looking great in between visits.

Jenny ~ Master Stylist

Jenny  has over 8 years experience. She started her salon career at Salon E, right out of beauty school. She the first stylist to make it through Angel’s Apprenticeship Program. Jenny is laid back, down to earth, but very hardworking. She always goes the extra mile for her clients, and loves the friendships she has formed with them. She’s a feisty natural red-head and a genuinely nice person.

Jenny’s talents are multi-faceted, as she provides manicures, pedicures and brow waxing in addition to being one of the salon’s busiest hairstylists. Her speciality is natural looking, shiny, healthy haircolor with just a few micro hilites. Jenny has amazing Upstyle skills. She really knows how to make a Bridal, Bridesmaid or Prom Upstyle look simple & effortless yet elegant & chic.

Gina is the Waxing Guru- She is so amazing trained and experienced, people drive from all over Ohio to get their eyebrows waxed! Seriously she is the Brow Arch Queen! Gina is one of the most cautious, meticulous, skilled Estheticians.

Gina has extensive skin knowledge since she has trained in Medical Esthetics and has worked with world class Dermatologists. So, prepare to be pampered, while have all of your skin issues addressed during one of her incredible Eminence Organic Skincare Facials. Gina goes the extra mile to give shoulder, upper back, arm & hand massages with her facials. You will leave with a deep sense of relaxation and glowing skin.

Gina is one of the few Brazilian Bikini Waxing experts in the area. She is the local expert at body waxing. Gina uses a Soy based, anti-microbial waxing system that is only heated to 98.6 degrees (the same temperature as the body) so there’s no heat burns and a lot less redness.  Her perfectionist nature makes very thorough in all aspects of her services, yet her 11 years experience allows her to wax in an expeditious manner.

Every Wednesday evening Gina hosts “Open Wax Nite” It’s all the same great waxing services and prices- without having to make an appoinment. Just stop by between 3p-8p, sign in for what you need waxed, and Gina right with you. She’s super fast at waxing, so the wait is rarely more than 15 minutes. 

Specialized Training- Personalized Eminence Skincare & Massage Techniques training with Boldijarre Koronczay, Master Trainer hailing from Budapest, Hungary, (Boldijarre is a dedicated trainer, lecturer, herbalist and master of European esthetics and massage) Chicago, 2012: Ongoing quarterly hands-on training sessions with Eminence Organic Skincare. 

Karen ~ Master Massage Therapist

Karen loves her job! She delights in helping her clients relax, and feel better through massage. Karen is passionate about learning new massage techniques to incorporate into her already artful repertoire.

In her 10 years of being Licensed as a Massage Therapist, Karen has studied and practiced Reflexology, Reiki, Shiatsu Massage, Swedish Massage, Loami-Loami, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Therapy Massage & Warm Thai Bamboo Massage Techniques.

Even her “basic” Relaxation Massage is Therapeutic. And it’s a full 60 minutes, not just 45-50 minutes like most large scale spas! Her Relaxation Massage incorporates all of her training in Shiatsu & Swedish Massage, Facilitated Stretching and Reiki. Karen has big, strong hands, so let’s just say- you won’t ever get a wimpy massage from this lady!

Many of the Salon E Team are regular clients of Karen’s- our favorite massages are Warm Thai Bamboo, Hot Stone Therapy & Deep Tissue.

 

Diane ~ Master Nail Technician

Diane is super fun, always smiling, and enjoys making her clients feel special. She is perpetually in a good mood, and makes the time you spend getting your nails done with her, that much more enjoyable.

With 17 years experience, Diane pays extra attention to detail while providing amazing hour long pedicures, 45 minute long manicures along with Shellac & OPI GelColor Hybrid nail color applications. She has strict sanitation techniques she adheres to, making your experience safe and enjoyable. We use fresh nail files & buffers for each client, giving you the choice to dispose of them, or take them home with you.

Diane uses Qtica’s Smart Spa System, allowing you to choose from 8 different scents, that incorporate the intoxicating fragrance throughout your entire pedicure experience. Diane’s pedicures luxuriously include a jetted spa soak, nail trimming, cuticle care, callous care, exfoliating sugar scrub, moisturizing masque with hot towel (amazing!), moisture lotion massage, and your choice of over 50 genuine OPI Nail Lacquers topped with an Extending Top Coat & Half-Time Polish Dry drops. Your tootsies are slipped into disposable pedi-flops & toe separators before you leave.
