The Academy at Salon Evangelene

We are now accepting applications for our next Academy Session starting this winter.

Evangelene has been a Hairstylist for 38 years, and a Salon Owner for 25 years. She no longer takes new clients, and has cut her schedule back behind the chair to only service her VIP clients 2 days a week. With her new lighter schedule, Evangelene has shifted her main focus to mentoring and training new Stylists. 

Salon Evangelene is proud to announce The Academy at Salon Evangelene. 

The Academy will be for any Ohio State Board Cosmetology Licensed Stylists looking to further their career and become certified in the skills required to accept clients at Salon E. 

The curated 13 week program will accelerate the training process to get new Stylists behind the chair much quicker and with the advanced skills their clients demand.

Our Academy Stylists will be paired to work along side a Mentor Stylist throughout the week. They will also spend one day a week with Evangelene learning hands-on, intensive techniques.

Salon Evangelene has always been an education focused “teaching” salon with a diverse age range of mentors to help guide new Stylists to their dream careers. The Academy program accommodates more stylists with a structured, specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time focused program, getting them on the fast track to their full earning potential.

Professionals

Guest Services- Help our Guests have an amazing experience by helping them check-in, check-out, make appointments and more. No Experience Necessary. 25 years and older

Apprentice Stylist- Newly Licensed with no experience. We have an amazing Apprenticeship program to get you trained quickly and behind the chair with proficient skills.

Jr. Stylist– Stylists who are licensed, but not as experienced, willing to train with the Owner & the Salon Team, and attend intensive continuing education. Take your career to a whole new level with education, a great environment, and unlimited earning opportunities.

Stylist– Stylists with 1–8 years of licensed experience who are willing to do a short training period to learn the level of service and care for our clients concurrent with the Salon Evangelene mission.

Master Stylist– Stylists with 8+ years of experience who have mastered your craft, but are looking for an amazing place to work to take your career and earning opportunities.to the highest level.
